Lightning Baseball offers access to the most highly qualified and professional coaching staff in Colorado.

Under the expert leadership of Dave Tucker, our coaches are outstanding individuals that all played NCAA Division 1 and/or Professional baseball and want to share their experiences, all in a way that resonates with our young players.

We believe that level of experience is priceless, and brings with it a unique perspective of the game not often witnessed firsthand.  Our coaches focus on their expertise and commit to teaching our players the skills from the positions that they played in. 

Our players are expected to work hard, meet our high expectations, and most importantly have lots of fun in the process!

• All-American Pitcher, All-Region & All-Conference SS in 1 year at Seward County CC
• All Conference, Team Captain, Team MVP, Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP as switch-hitting 3B at the University of Washington
• Led team to NCAA Rice Regional
• Finished career 9th on UW Home Run list (#1 for switch-hitters)
• On Dean's List & earned the Mary Gates Scholarship awarded to top Student-Athlete
• Member of WSAAC at UW (Washington Student-Athlete Advisory Council)
• Drafted by Baltimore Orioles reaching AAA, 2x All-Star in 6 years of Professional Baseball (played 3B, 2B, 1B, SS, LF, P and C)
• Player/Coach for Reno Silver Sox - led team to post season twice and a League Championship

• 4-year starter at University of Washington and Dallas Baptist University
• Switch-hitting CF/RF/2B/3B helping UW to NCAA Oxford Regional Freshman year
• 1 of 4 2B in the country to have 10+ HR and 15+ SB at the NCAA D1 level at DBU
• Led DBU in hitting 2006 at .350
